We work with financial institutions (infrastructure funds, private equity, investment banks etc.) and Energy / Utility companies on a wide range of due diligence projects across buy side, sell side, and project finance deals. The team operates in many industry sectors, but with particular focus on midstream and downstream oil and gas, power generation and distribution (including traditional gas generation, biogas, biomass, Energy from Waste) and energy transitions (e.g. Hydrogen, CCS/CCUS, Ammonia, etc). Our team has been expanding steadily in recent years, in particular in the circular economy space, and we are now looking for a consultant or a senior consultant with significant experience in Biogas/Biomass technologies to work in our Due Diligence team. The nature of this role means that we are open to where in UK/Ireland you live, however you will be required to collaborate with colleagues in our office locations and meet with clients at their sites as appropriate. You’ll utilize your skills and experience to determine findings, draw conclusions and develop recommendations for our clients, communicating these though strategic client reports and presentations. In addition, you will use and develop all these skills to develop and maintain client relationships to support ongoing sales/bid development, and market research activities. You’ll find that the nature of your work is varied, challenging and fast paced as you contribute to the delivery of technical due diligence projects for our clients, supported by a large team (currently about 140 FTE) and collaborating with colleagues across DNV’s services, leveraging our broader technical expertise and global footprint. In addition, you will use and enhance your skills to develop and maintain client relationships to support ongoing sales/bid development, and market research activities.
